The Gangs All Here

Well the gang is all here, this is not a very good picture of everyone but it was the first, Oliver in brown, alex in green and henry in blue. This is very important since if you take a hat off you better replace it with the same color hat OR daddy will get confused then upset.

We have had a great busy first week with everyone. We had our first eye exams, the results being they are fine not finished forming yet but looking great, and our first doctors visit. They boys are on NeoSure formula which is a higher calorie count formula, which is great at putting the pounds on but terrible, it makes them gassy and uncomfortable and poor little Alex will throw up at least one or twice a day. We now have to feed him small meals making our home a 24 hour open kitchen :). Mommy tried REALLY hard to advocate for a different kind of formula but this is the best for them now.

We had our first experience with the developmental growth cart, you know how Mom's (some of you may be been guilty of this) go around and say "my baby is in the 90% percentile of whatever" well... my babies are off the chart! Seriously, they are all JUST below but getting close.

We also got introduced to the developmental milestones chart, if any of you know what I do for a living you know I work with these often so I knew what to expect. While the boys are a month old we are not even working on any of these yet. Luckily the doctor said he wouldn't ask me to make me feel bad but just to start thinking about some of them. He did mention early intervention to me which make me take a deep breath but at least I know it is not a terrible thing.

Alex: This picture doesn't do the man of the hour justice. He usually is pretty wide eyed and ready to check out the world. Since coming home he has been happy to take his place right in the middle of the action. He is keeping up with his weight at 4lbs and 4oz on track with his brothers. He has a very sensitive stomach something that both daddy and grandma learned the hard way. He is mommy's big guy for sure!

Henry: We like to call this guy Hungry Hungry Henry because he is sure to finish his meal, which is great! Coming in at 4lbs 15oz he is ready to get out of Preemie clothes and graduate to NB soon. The other day he stayed up for a hour and a half just hanging out with mom and dad (and grandma too). I hate to admit this but our TV is so big that we think he could actually see it and was watching it with us. At least the Met game was on. Oliver: Ladies and Gentleman this is the soon to be famous Oliver face. He makes this face when he is hungry, or upset, or if you look at him funny. He also has a look with his lips pressed together but the eyes are the same way. It says "hey ladies"!!! He continues to keep up with his brother also weighing 4lbs and 15oz which is great. He likes to be the leader of the pack when it comes to getting his diaper changed and generally he is first to wake up but mommy doesn't mind giving him the extra attention.

Things learned this week.
They HATE the pack in play.......Yes they do pee in the air......Bath time is not fun time (yet).... the monkey at the end of the book is the best part..... nothing is better than three smiles at the end of the day.
Can't wait to see you all soon we would love visitors!
