We got great news today that I just have to share. This story actually starts a few months ago. Daddy-to-be and I did a bunch of research into car seats and what our options were. Daddy-to-be settled on these fancy convertible car seats with nike air technology that could seat babies from 5lbs to 100lbs. We thought great we only have to buy three car seats instead of 6. (Infant car seats then booster seats) Well the Babies R Us guy told us no way we had to buy infant car seats. GRRRR
So I asked our doctor what they recommended and she put me in touch with the safety director at the hospital. This very very nice woman and I spoke about the car seats and she told me that "regular" car seats start at 5lbs and that our babies will be smaller and need special car seats. (ugh) She was willing to check into this and get back to me. Well today I got an email from the hospital that they have a recommended car seat and that they are purchasing them for us so what color do we want! I couldn't believe it. The car seats are around $200.00 a piece and they are just going to let us have them! We told her she could pick out the colors and that we would be donating them right back once the babies were to big.
What a great start to the year now lets hope our appointments on Friday go just a well!
