I had my 29 week doctors appointment today. We learned I was wrong about the amount of weight I had gained. I thought I had gained 27lbs but it turns out as of today I have only gained 24lbs total. While I am still not on ensure infusions I do have to find a way to get more calories in and put some weight on.
She also wanted to take a look at the boys this posed a problem when the same machine that only saw two originally refused to work at all. SO..... that meant another trip to the Labor and Delivery to get a sonogram done. She called ahead and with a note we where on our way. Somewhere between leaving the doctors office and getting to the hospital, the hospital must have forgotten why we were coming because when we go there they wanted to admit me. They asked me to put on a gown. I said no I can just lift of my shirt and the nurse started yelling that I refused to change.????? then came 4 doctors asking about pain and issues... I said no the machine was broken just need to check for heartbeats. Then the nurse comes back wanting to take my temp and blood pressure. She asked me when my due date was, I asked the 40 week or 36 week, this confused her more. She said when are you having the babies. I said I am not sure they haven't scheduled a C-Section yet. She didn't like this either so she kept asking "when are you due, when are you due????" The doctor finally stepped in and helped out. What did he do to help? Remind me that triplets usually come within 30 to 34 weeks. THANK YOU!
The other fun thing was that since triplets aren't common it turned into a lesson for an intern... ugh.... so my 4:00 doctors appointment ended at 6:30. BUT only after the nurse came back to tell me to drink 8 glasses of water and take a prenatal pill. I think if she is working when I am back I will try and pretend to be sleeping when she walks in the room.
BUT!!!!! The boys are fine and looking good so I can't complain. (too much)

New Office
Today starts my first day of maternity leave/working from home. My job is allowing me to work a few hours a week from home until the boys are here which is such a blessing! So last week I cleaned out two offices and brought home what I think I will need for the next 7 weeks. Here is a picture of my new office. It needs a lot of work to get organized but my new Admin. Assistant April The Cat looks ready and willing to pitch in.
Also here is the newest photo of me at 28-29 weeks. We were getting ready for a date night. Since I am at home all day we decided it was important to make sure we get out off the house on the weekends. Where did we go on our date night? Babies R Us of course!
