Getting up to Speed

I thought I would get everyone up to speed on what has been going on (while I can still remember). We just had our 17 week level 2 ultrasound yesterday and it was a great viewing. But I will get back to that.

When Daddy-to-be and I meet we both thought kids, were not really for us. Then we thought well maybe one day, then about about 2 years ago we thought maybe just one to see how it works out. 4 months ago we found out we were going to have a baby and were excited. We had talked about it (in great detail of course) planned finanicaly etc etc etc.

I went to the first offical doctor's appointment at 8 weeks. I told Daddy-to-be don't worry it isn't a big deal. He had a work conflict anyway so he couldn't make it anyway. When the nurse said "Doctor look there is another one! Is this your first set of twins." I told her it just wasn't funny. Clearly the joke was about to be on us.

At 12 weeks we headed to the hospital for a high powered sonogram. I was convinced that they were going to appologize to me saying "I am sorry there is only one he just has a very large head." So when we were told there were actually three I don't remember the first thing said but I think it was. "well we have to get rid of the Audi now."

So here we are at 17 weeks. I am still having up and down days but more ups then downs. The technician said that the kids were well behaved during the appointment. So everyone keep your fingers crossed for the next 18 years. This meant that we were able to find out what we are having. BUT we have decided to not look at the sheet until Christmas. I am kicking myself for thinking of that but it will be worth the wait. All three are in good shape and developing normally.

I have a few pictures to post as well.

New Adventures

I have decided to start a blog in hopes of keeping my friends and family up to date on what is going on within the Sadie Padie household. As of today I am 4 months pregnant with triplets, while we had planned for one healthy baby we are excited to be planning for three now.
